This episode features Jay Billy. He is a principal at Slackwood Elementary School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He demonstrates his passion for leading and learning and innovative practices inside schools and classrooms by reading and working with his colleagues. Jay is passionate about making school and learning fun and engaging for everyone in the community, including Teachers, Students, and Families, and in 2016 he received the Exemplary Educator award from the New Jersey Dept. of Education. In 2018 he published a book titled Lead with Culture: What Really Matters in Our Schools.
