Episode 059 - Forrest Pritchett

This episode features Rev. Forrest Pritchett. A member of the Seton Hall community since 1978, Pritchett is heavily involved in the African American community. He has been the assistant dean of the Black Studies Center and an adjunct professor in the department of Africana. He currently serves as director of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Program. It was in early 2016 that the office of President Barack Obama, along with the Corporation for National Community Service, presented Pritchett with the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award. The professor also won the Pirate Pride Award from 1999-2000, the University McQuaid Medal in 2003 and Employee of the Year in 2008

Episode 058 - Robin Schilke

This episode features Robin Schilke. Robin is a junior Art, Design, and Interactive Multimedia Major with minors in Business Administration and Web Design. She is a member of the Buccino Leadership Institute’s CommArts cohort. In addition to overseeing the Institute’s Instagram, Robin has worked closely with Rachel Badway in developing the app “Lead Ahead,” a leadership development app geared towards undergraduate leaders.

Episode 057 - Thomas Gelmi

This episode features Thomas Gelmi. A leadership advisor and executive development coach for over a decade, Thomas has worked closely with prominent companies like Siemens, Expedia, Red Bull, and the World Trade Organization. His focus is on building personal and interpersonal competence at an individual level, moving away from the traditional "command & control" models of leadership towards a more inside-out approach.

Episode 056 - Jacquel Clemons Bouer

This episode features Jacquel Clemons. She is the COO of the Kings Against Violence Initiative in Brooklyn and works to push restorative justice in the education system. Throughout her career, her work focused on urban populations such as New York City’s Community Action for Prenatal Care Initiative, HRSA’s PROJECT PREVENTS, CDC Project S.T.E.P.S and Columbia University’s BedStuy West Community Research Studies.

Episode 055 - James Orsini

This episode features James Orsini. He is the president of The Sasha Group, a VaynerX company, which provides educational, consulting, and marketing services to help businesses reach their growth potential. He has also worked with companies such as Saatchi and Saatchi, Sito Mobile Ltd, and Interbrand North America. In addition, he has written numerous business articles and white papers including Agency of the Future, Let Leaders Lead and Practitioners Practice, The Authentic Network, and Reverse 360 Mentoring and appeared on podcasts such as Second in Command with Cameron Herold and Self-made Man with Mike Dillard. He is a board member of residential substance abuse rehabilitation programs Renovation House of New Jersey and New York as well.

Episode 054 - Paul Muldoon

This episode features Paul Muldoon. He is a Pulitzer-prize winning poet who has published 14 full-length poetry collections, as well as countless other pieces of writing. Born in Northern Ireland, he studied at Queen’s University in Belfast and worked as a producer for the BBC until becoming a freelance writer in the mid-1980s. He was the poetry editor of The New Yorker from 2007-2017 and has served as a professor of poetry at both Oxford University and Princeton University, and he currently occupies the Howard G.B. Clark ’21 chair in the Humanities at Princeton. He has been described by The Times Literary Supplement as “The most significant English-language poet born since the second World War.”

Episode 053 - Diversity Inclusion Initiative

This episode features Nyah Doe and Chris Lucas. Nyah and Chris lead the Diversity & Inclusion initiative and organize dialogues, classes, and workshops. They create a safe space for important conversations to happen and lead a diverse team of leaders. Nyah is a sophomore in the Communication & the Arts cohort and Chris is a junior in the Business cohort.

Episode 052 - Daniel Harkavy

This episode features Daniel Harkavy. Daniel has coached thousands of business leaders to peak levels of success, performance, profitability and fulfillment. In 1996, he harnessed his passion for coaching teams and leaders and founded Building Champions, where he serves as CEO and CEO Mentor. In October 2020, he released his latest book “The 7 Perspectives of Effective Leaders.”

Episode 051 - Rachel Badway

This episode features Rachel Badway. She is a junior finance major in the Buccino Leadership Program at Seton Hall. Rachel is currently developing Lead Ahead, a leadership app designed for college students. Lead Ahead came in second at Seton Hall’s “Pirate Pitch,” and was selected as one of the top 100 ideas in the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization.
